My wine shop is one of the oldest in Siena and specializes in Brunello di Montalcino as well as featuring famous labels such as Masseto, Sassicaia, Ornellaia and other top wines. Many bottles that are featured inside, are not found anywhere in the world except in Cantina del Brunello as they are not intended for export, also because they are produced in limited numbers.
For our tasting, I chose a selection of the great Tuscan and Italian wines from more than a thousand different labels, such as Chianti Classico, Supertuscan and Brunello di Montalcino of the best quality, all accompanied by a selection of the best pecorino cheese with breadsticks, taking you not only to the store directly but inside an Etruscan tomb, dug into the tuff, which I discovered after some renovation work, where I also keep my collection.
