CVNE was founded in Haro - Rioja in 1879 by Real de Asúa brothers, now run by the 5th generation of the same family. Imperial was made for the first time in 1920. One simple aim: make the best wine. Since then CVNE has been striving to achieve this aim. Imperial is only made in those years considered excelent.
