Standard Vineyard Tour & Tasting

Guided tours of the vineyard and winery + tasting

Duration : 2 hrs

Guided tours include a 60 minute tour of the vineyard and winery, followed by a tutored tasting of 6/7 of our award winning sparkling and still wines.

Arrive at the Chapel Down Wine and Fine Food Store, Tenterden, Kent 15 minutes prior to you tour and check in with a member of staff at the till point. Meet your guide at the guided tour assembly point at the back of the shop where your host will take you around the vineyard and winery. The tour culminates with a tutored tasting of 6/7 of our award winning still and sparkling wines. After the tasting, feel free to browse the lovely shop or take a look in our herb garden. 

Notes for customers taking a vineyard tour and tasting:

  • Please wear comfortable/suitable shoes 
  • No dogs allowed on the guided tour or in the shop but are allowed around the vineyard on a lead
  • No wine glasses on the tour
  • Due to our health and safety regulations, high visibility vests must be worn at all times whilst on the tour. These vests will be provided by the tour guide. 
  • The tour goes ahead in all weathers (rain or shine!)
  • Soft drinks will be provided if preferred and for visitors under the age of 18. 
  • Children are welcome on our guided tours and tastings but please note the experience is very in depth so please bring something to keep them entertained!
