Tasting Notes:

Appearance: Crystalline, the dress is a beautiful pale pink color, adorned with subtle orange reflections.

Nose: The nose exudes fragrances of white peach, apricot, passion fruit and mango.

Palate: Ample and refreshing, the mouth seduces with its elegance as well as its aromas of citrus zest and sweet spices (cinnamon, cardamom).

The refinement and complexity of a rosé wine from Provence

The property

A young agricultural engineer from Alsace, Marcel Ott settled in Provence in 1896 with the ambition that this vineyard ravaged by phylloxera could produce great wines. The Ott family still perpetuates this know-how today to produce a range of rosé, red and white Provence wines from three estates, Château de Selle, Clos Mireille and Château Romassan.

Created by René Ott in the 1930s, the emblematic bottle of Domaines Ott*, recognizable among all, signs the quality of these great wines of Provence. In 2004, Domaines Ott* joined the Louis Roederer house.

The vineyard

The BY OTT rosé 2021 from Domaines Ott* is a Côtes de Provence wine made from a rigorous selection of grapes.

Vinification and aging

Following the harvest, the grapes are received by gravity in the new cellar of Château de Selle, before being sent to the vat room exclusively reserved for the production of By Ott rosé.
