Tasting Notes:

Appearance: Brilliant, the dress has a peach pink hue.

Nose: Gourmet, the nose blends aromas of white peach and exotic fruits with vanilla notes. A lemony, subtly spicy touch evokes immortelle flowers.

Palate: Ample and of a beautiful softness, the mouth seduces by its freshness and its persistence until a finish with notes of citrus fruits and yellow fruits.

The property

A young agricultural engineer from Alsace, Marcel Ott settled in Provence in 1896 with the ambition that this vineyard ravaged by phylloxera could produce great wines.

The Ott family still perpetuates this know-how today to produce a range of rosé, red and white Provence wines from three estates, Château de Selle, Clos Mireille and Château Romassan.

Created by René Ott in 1930, the emblematic bottle of Domaines Ott, recognizable among all, signs the quality of these great wines of Provence.

In 2004, Domaines Ott* joined the Louis Roederer house.

Vinification and aging

The Côtes de Provence BY OTT rosé 2020 from Domaines Ott* comes from a rigorous selection of grapes, which are then received by gravity in the new cellar of Château de Selle, before being sent to the vat room exclusively reserved for the making of the By Ott rosé.

Assembly

The Côtes de Provence BY OTT rosé 2020 vintage from Domaines Ott* is the result of a blend of Grenache (60%), Cinsault (28%), Syrah (8%) and Mourvèdre (4%).
