Tasting Notes:

Intense garnet color.
Nose: cherry, cassis, raspberry, unsweetened cocoa, I was smoking, licorice.
Palate: velvety tannins, exceptional touch, precise, length of cocoa of rare finesse at the end of liquorice, magical spices.

The Winery:

The vineyard: terroir of limestone and flint, known as the Upper Turonian. 112 year old vines.

Domaine des Roches Neuves is organic in saumur-champigny, Thierry Germain has made a huge change in his estate and in these 22 hectares of vines that he has been working biodynamically since 2002.

He was able to work on the balance between fruit and aging in Cabernet Sauvignon using different containers. For whites, Chenin Blanc is the star. He knew how to give emotion to his wines.
