Our father, Guillermo Toro, related to the wine industry as a supplier of bottles for more than 60 years, and passionate about wine and its people, proposed us to develop a project to produce original wines, unifying his two great passions. The first grape harvest was obtained in 2001, and the following year the construction of the wine cellar located in the Melipilla area began. Today Viña Chocalán is recognized for being one of the leading vineyards in producing high quality red and white wines. Our wines are a tribute to our father and our family ... for their love, passion and work. Chocalán, name given by the natives and which means "yellow shoots"
