Chapel Hill winery is situated in the McLaren Vale region only an hour drive from Adelaide, built on the original site of the Seaview Chapel initially constructed in 1865. The first planting began in 1972 on the elevated edge of the Onkaparinga Gorge, which features excellent elevation, ancient rocky soils, and moderate Mediterranean sea breezes.

Using sustainable practices with minimal impact on the local flora and fauna, helps them to produce distinct terrior driven wines that are robust and elegant. The production comes from estate plantings of chardonnay, verdelho, savagnin, shiraz, cabernet sauvignon, sangiovese and merlot, plus contract-grown grapes. Rated at five Red Stars by the Wine Companion, they are one of the leaders in the regions.

Their tasting room situated in the beautiful old winery/Chapel offers tasting and regional experiences which can be booked in real-time. They also have a relaxing wine garden to taste and enjoy their great range of wines in good company. For those of you wanting to feel the serenity of the McLaren Vale hills their accommodation offers sweeping views of the vineyard with all the mod-cons one could need.
