Cape Mentelle Vineyards situated in one of Australia's most highly regarded wine regions and one of the most remote. The Magaret River is renown for high-quality Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay, and at the 'Cape' they've been consistently producing some of the region's best. Founded in1970 by the three Hohnen brothers, the original 16 hectares of vineyards and were one of the first established in the area. The estate has expanded to 150 hectares and enjoys a mild and humid maritime climate and a long, dry growing season perfect for ripening grapes.

It has twice received the most coveted award in Australia, the Jimmy Watson Memorial Trophy. In 2014, the sixth edition of the prestigious Langton's Classification of Australian Wines saw Cape Mentelle Cabernet Sauvignon elevated from 'Excellent' to 'Outstanding'.

They produce Semillon, Chardonnay, Rose, Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, Zinfandel, Cabernet, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and Petit Verdot. The rammed earth cellar door offers tastings, as well as a Behind the Scenes Tour and Behind the Scenes Tour with Food and Wine Pairing Experience.
