The recently built new home of St Hugo located in the fondly reconditioned 150-year-old ruins of William Jacob's winery sets the scene of a modern and comfortable cellar door restaurant. The success of St Hugo originally stems from the visionary father, Hugo Grump who built the regionally iconic Gramp and Sons brand.
Find yourself surrounded by 50-year-old cork trees the moment you enter the driveway leading the beautifully renovated winery, which in itself is a truly wonderful experience.
They are producing prized wines, highly sort after by collector throughout the world. Their core wine varieties are Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, Grenache, Mataro, Riesling, and Semillon grown in the Barossa Valley and Coonawarra.
