Chateau Smith Haut Lafitte Red 2016
Grand Cru Classé

Tasting notes from Fabien Teitgen, Winemaker:
Château Smith Haut Lafitte 2016 has a deep, nearly black hue. The nose is wonderfully complex, revealing refined aromas of blackberry, black cherry, raspberry, delicate floral notes, and mild spices with hints of star anise, smoke, and flint.
On the palate, it is powerful, elegant, and undeniably seductive. The attack is balanced, showing excellent concentration, density, and freshness. The wine offers fullness, complexity, freshness, power, and intense aromas of fruit, flowers, spices, and smoke—making the 2016 vintage a true masterpiece.
